Sometimes as i sit and watch my reflection in the mirror, I wonder if my life is as I hoped it would be.
The fantasies that once made whole days seem worthwhile are now just thoughts that pass in and out of my mind.
But deep down in my heart, a familiar feeling starts to whisper to me. Calling me to draw upon the gift that i have been blessed with.
And as the feeling begins to swell inside me, I closed my eyes as everything starts to take form. Then the passion that is now searing through my body becomes another portrait.... a beautiful and meaningful portrait.
And for a glorious but fleeting moment in time, I give a part of myself only a few will ever remember or see.
Then i close my sketchpad as i give off a satisfied sigh and later on, feed off the admiration... I shared my soul
And when i return to the mirror and look at my reflection, I believe my life is as I hoped it would be after all
